As a mom who is raising (only) 3 boys and who also has MS, I haven't known what else to do but laugh at the utter ignorance (or despair at the utter mean-spiritedness) of Hilary Rosen and the others who have jumped on the Ann Romney-bashing bandwagon.

- I am a Christian, a wife, mother, homeschool teacher, perfectionist, night-owl, reader, conservative, photographer, and a lot more. I have 3 boys-- 11 year old twins named Joseph and Brigham, and a 9-year-old named Moses. I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2005. I went from a 30-mile-a-week runner to being mostly wheelchair-bound in 2 years. In 2008 I was accepted into the HALT-MS study-- a clinical trial in which I underwent an autologous stem cell transplant (bone marrow transplant) in an attempt to put the disease into remission. So far, I have remained stable for more than four years! I am grateful every day for the new lease on life that God (and modern medicine and awesome doctors, but mostly God :-)) has granted to me, and the chance I have to teach and raise my boys, love my husband, and experience the joy, frustration, happiness, and heartache that life brings.

Hey, I like this. I'm not a big Fox News watcher, and I didn't hear about the president of NOW's comments, but I remember hearing about the Hilary Rosen comment on an NPR story, and I just had to laugh and say, "Oh, she didn't really just say that." As rich as her family is, I'm guessing that Ann Romney wasn't able to buy her way out of all of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week work that motherhood is.
